Zoom Coffee Wins Bronze Medal 3 years Running.

At the CSR Golden Bean Coffee Roaster Awards December 03-05- 2011

We are proud to announce that our very own Roast Master: Janelle Cheadle in her first year roasting at Zoom Coffee has won her first bronze medal in this year’s competition.

This year Janelle had the use of our brand new 15kg Roastmax Coffee Roaster at the Roast house in Ballina.

Bronze medal in the category of Single Origin : Zoom Coffee Organic ( Fairtrade)

More than 1200 entries were received from 600 coffee roasters around Australia. Zoom Coffee ranked overall in the top 5% of roasters in Australia now 3 years running.

This Year the “CSR Golden Bean” saw the biggest uptake of coffee entries ever in Australian coffee competitions, with close to 80% of Australian roasters participating in 10 coffee brew categories, entering over 1200 individual packs of coffee.The Equal

Golden Bean Coffee Roaster Competition aims to give due recognition to Australia’s best coffee roasters from an independent forum of expert industry and consumer judges.

Australia now has over 600 specialty and commercial coffee roasters across the nation. The CSR Golden Bean award process looks to find the best of the best for a group of commercial categories of roasted coffee production categories of roasted coffee production.

At Zoom Coffee we roast the green beans using the latest roasting technologies in Ballina and package the coffee into our one-way valve bags within hours to seal in the freshness. Total quality control coupled with state of the art equipment ensures that Zoom Coffee is achieved in every bag of our coffee beans. All of our coffee is roasted by our Roast Master with years of experience at our roast house in Ballina NSW quality assurance, skill and care has enabled us to get the best from the bean and fulfil your expectations.

Barista training is overseen by our Certified Head trainer and is delivered at our fully equipped Barista training school at the roaster at Ballina.

As an Australian Grown licensee , Zoom Coffee is receiving many national accolades for its quality wholesale coffee products with attatude Zoom coffee makers and wholesale coffee at great prices .

We supply wholesale roasted coffee beans , but also have a retail product range available through selected retail outlets. Under the guidance of Proprietor Mark Nancarrow our Roast Master , the business has grown into a well known brand. With our 100% single estate Australian coffee, (grown at Green Mountain Plantation at Nimbin in the Byron hinterland) the Zoom Coffee brand has seen some excellent growth over the last 5 years on the back of this delightful local roast which embodies all the characteristics of coffee grown in this region.
